Frequently asked questions

The photo must be 35×45 mm. The head (chin to crown) should measure 31–36 mm. The system sizes it for you automatically.

Plain white or light-coloured. Take the photo against any background — the system removes it and puts in the right colour.

Non-tinted prescription glasses allowed if eyes clearly visible and frame does not cover eyes; no sunglasses.

Yes. Tick “Baby or young child” before uploading. Lay your baby on a plain sheet and photograph from above — the system relaxes the rules that don’t apply to babies, such as eyes open.
